One thing more: are we looking at connectivity for informatioanl purpose, transactional or an congruent complimentary application of both. Sadly, where we are in Kenya, it is not yet e-Commerce: save for ringtones, wallpapers etc. We must be able to get to that point beyond the connectivity: enabling systems and mechanisms to utilize this infrastructure. For instance, here in Kenya how many people pay for services and/ or make purchases online? What of that point that Mpesa can fit in to meet this need. We need systems to Facilitate mechanisms, if in any way we are going to utiliza the infrastructure (Connectivity).

"We middle class, upper middle class" , i may be one them but i think changing society has nothing to do with class. How many people in Kenya are in that class or goes to vote and practically what is their significance. I think you are just coding some words to make a good rhetoric

Thanks though

As far as I know, the iHub launch is March 3rd, rather than March 2nd. See:

From the above comentary, am obliged to articulate some different school of thought where, as has been said, the best thinkers are the worst implementors of the same ideas they brought forward. We need to take the current admin of President Obama vis-a-vis the ratings he enjoyed at inauguration and the disaster his healthcare policy has brought in.
We live in a dynamic society and todays need will be tomorrows luxury hence abundance and scarcity are just one of the same coin.
Am running a project in Samburu District and the knowledge got is of ultimate importance in policy and implementation design of the same. See when its dearly wet here, the animals flourish and nobody sells nothing yet when its dead hot the populace is dying of hunger, conflicts and excess meats, thus i ask abundance or scarcity. answer lack of knowledge.
Open to discussion.
