End of Uchumi?

I wonder if this is the end of Uchumi – this step probably should have taken place a while ago.
I now wonder if some rich consortium of guys will now and acquire the assets of Uchumi at a paltry sum and hope to sell it later for a fortune.

Yes, my business partners and I are in discussion with the receivers of Uchumi to purchase the defunct institution and partner with a leading global retailer to bring it back to its former glory! We are in this for the long run and not just short run profits.
there’s alot of politics and manuervering going on behind the scenes. If it was a simple matter of profit and loss, Uchumi would have been running still..
